Origin auto repairs BF2 at startup and failed download

Have you tried reinstalling Epic and Origin?

Yes. Gives me the same issue.

Hey @AstroEscyy Can you check the following then try to install it?

• Clear Origin Cache  
• Run EGS and Origin as admin
• Verify you can right to your install location and any anti-virus is not limiting the installation
• Or, try putting your device in a Clean Boot

Thank you for the reply. I have tried those things to no avail.

However, for some reason, I can't even choose my install location. When I click download it just tells me "Preparing Trying Again"

Sounds like a rights issue with the location you are trying to install to. Installing and running as admin should have taken care of that.

I suggest you include a screenshot that shows the install location in Origin.

OK. That looks like your default settings. Are you sure you installed BF2 to that same default location and you have rights to that folder?

Yes, I've downloaded Battlefront before with no issue and I've never touched the install location.

I just changed the download location and still the same issue.

I should add on however, that when I called EA the other day they said it is because I am banned from the Battlefront Online Services. Which makes no sense to how I cannot download the game, but maybe that is the answer to my problem?

Agreed.

It sounds like you will be wasting your time trying to install/run, until you get the ban sorted.
