Please select your region EuropeAMD or Nvidia Model Number Here is a video of this phenomenon, though it's a bit chaotic and hard to make out. However, it is clear at times that Luke is being hit, yet there is no indication of that, nor is there any change in his health.

Very strange, and I use palpatine oftenly, but never seen this. Of course his lightning gets the target even before it hits, there is a zone between miss and hit where the lightning does reach the target but doesn't inflict damage, but it isn't like in the yoda video provided. Also this is something interesting as blocking saber users do get their stamina drained when caught by this lightning that wouldn't hit, so blocking a lot against palpatine can drag those lightning that wouldn't hit to consume your stamina (Rey and Yoda shouldn't mind that though).But If the crosshair's middle point touches the enemy's body it should hit, it has been like this to me since I started using palpatine in patch 1.1 Good footage you found on this @DYSPROssium

So after the May hotfix, not only this problem is present - still -, but now the abilities are bugged aswell. Chain lightning is just 100% useless, nothing even happens.You did not nerf Palpatine - you broke him.

I think that I have encountered this bug as well, although not after the newest patch. When was the last time this happened to you? Is the video made after the last patch?

I tried to find a video about this since I have encountered it, but sadly I think I removed it.
Basically what happens is that the lightning of Palp does hit the enemy and is actually attracted to the other player, but no damage is dealt. It doesn't happen often, but it certainly happens.
This is a hard bug to tackle since it seems that very few players have ever encountered it and actually thought it was a bug. I hope I get a new footage someday so we have more proof.

Just curious, but what does the team do with the information? Are there persons trying the steps out to see if they can find it? Or are they going to look at the code first?
Is there actually a selection made of which bugs they will try to find and ones that are obviously false?
From personal experience, I know that it is important to know the exact steps and ways the bug behaves, so it can be tracked down more easily.
I am in no way a developer, but just curious what happens next 🙂

I can't go in to much details on how everything works. But we gather the data, reports and sentiment from the forums and that information being sent over to the devs for investigation like bug reports or issues that comes up. And sometimes if they need more information you can see me asking for some information or help from you as player on the forums that will help with the investigation.

Always wondered the process at different companies. Standard practice after reporting is where is the Lowest Hanging Fruit with the best return on time invested. You also need to understand that while something may look simple to fix, it might not be as simple as adding another line of code. One card pulled from the house of cards and .... well you know, BOOM.
