I wonder if this is related: I have an ambidextrous mouse (Razer Taipan) with two buttons on the left side and two on the right. After one of the recent Battlefront II updates/patches, the side buttons are mirrored instead of treated as separate inputs, thereby crippling the ability to remap the side mouse buttons separately.
I mapped the upper LEFT side mouse button as Mouse 4 and it works fine. But when trying to map the upper RIGHT side mouse button it says the button is already in use as Mouse 4! I have the Razer software which I also disabled and still had the same issue, which means it's likely a Battlefront problem. (I attached screenshots, hope they're visible here too)
I did not have this problem in the game until whatever update came out a few weeks ago, late May early June? I am playing the campaign but that probably doesn't make a difference as the controls are universal to the multiplayer. The game has become unplayable for me since I'm so used to the control scheme I had previously configured. I hope there's a quick fix for this!

Hi @publicimage,
I tested around to get that error and I only got it when Mouse button 4 was connected to another key binding. take a look on your keybinding to see if its shortcut to something else.

Thanks for investigating. But, it's an entirely separate mouse button that should appear as Mouse 5 and there shouldn't be any button conflicts at all. As I said, it mapped correctly before one of the recent patches.

Hey, @publicimage lets try with moving the document folder to desktop for SWBF2 ( this will remove all settings and single player and arcade progression). To see if helps if not just move the folder back.
if that don't work do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with SWBF2.
