i spent all of my money i had spent ages to save up and when i got the game i was so excited then i wen tin to multiplayer i always get rubber banded back when running and in a gun fight people teleport around like i have 20000ms but i did a speed test it was fine played another game and it was fine its so dumb i cant play without raging

Seems to be an issue on both PC and PS4 (not sure about Xbox) and it's almost unplayable at times. I've seen NO response from EA anywhere about the issue which pisses me off.

Lag is to the point that Starfighting is unplayable. Please fix this. Please COMMUNICATE with your userbase that you AT LEAST acknowledge the problem, give a summary of the technical issue and a timeframe for resolution. LEARN from Blizzard and other companies that treat their players like first class citizens. You are a fortune 100 company with revenues of 3+ billion, act like one.

Same here. No other game does this. It's basically unplayable unless you want to get super pissed off. Getting shot 10 steps around corners, the pause when you start shooting which prevents you from killing anybody, endless hit markers with no kills, 2 shots from the cr2 kills me but takes 60 to kill them, invisible enemys, etc. All from lag. Blast isn't as bad most of the time, but GA is terrible.

Same as well, my speed test was fine and I don't lag AT ALL with any other game I have including Battlefront 1. This rubber banding is making it nearly impossible to play GA, or even SA. I had to budget specifically for this game and this is simply infuriating.

same hereXB1XGame was fine since release (elite edition) .But the last 2-3 days or so major stutter .Unplayable sometimes I've raged out because of the stutter.Same thing like early BF4.

Go to Options > EA Account > Turn OFF the Share Data toggle (should be the first one)
I don't know if this will work for everyone but I haven't had lag since I turned it off. You might have to restart the game after you turn it off for it to take effect.

Still having major lagging issues after the update.With 130mg & 5/7 pin internet fiber connection is not the problem.Pls fix ASAP it make the game unplayable and I really like it,they make a wonderful job with this game on Star Wars universe and I really want enjoi the game to fullest but with lagging thing is impossible.

Hi there, it really does suck, i'm still having really bad lag on battlefront 2, very disappointing. I had this issue with the previous title, and was hoping this game would be way more robust in terms of overall performance. The problem isn't always there, but its there quite often.
Galactic Assault seems to be worse than Star fighter assault, properly because of the player difference (40, in comparison to 24).
Please address this ASAP EA/Dice, with a hot fix.

Hi, i play on ps4, can you please put back FOV slider?
Oh and the servers are still lagging for me i play on Europeans servers. Thanks i hope you can fix all these thing because this game it's awesome!

Are you in Europe? I'm curious how you know you are connected to a European server. If you are, its probably because all of America is also being connected to servers in London area cause I geo pinged the servers I am connecting to and that's definitely where they are.

Thank you all for the posts. I did notice a drop in issues of this type over the weekend, though such reports haven't gone away completely.

@EA_David, could you please address my concern about people in the USA being connected to servers in London? This seems to be ignored everytime I mention it. Is there seriously no game servers for Xbox one within the USA?

When you have an already high ping due to the server being overseas, there is no room for fluctuation without it affecting the game. High traffic would cause the ping to rise and a little rise would cause these types of issues.

If there are NO game servers in the USA, then everyone in the USA and Europe is using the same servers I assume and if there are USA servers, then people shouldn't be routed to London if they are on the east coast of the USA.

I know that while in menus, I'm connected to a server somewhere in the USA area but it's when I go into a game that it switches to London.
