This issue is the same issue of the Disabled Block State or Stamina glitch:

The video I provided with the steps detailed on both reports is enough to reproduce the BUG. And it's doable with Rey, Luke and Yoda. It's not the only cause for this BUG though, but is one which can be reproduced in a controlled environment for further tests. I already did with all 3 and it worked on all 3.
To be freed of this bad state you can either respawn (I know you don't want to do that) or find a relatively safe place and mash your attack button until your stamina gauge gets full red. Then just allow it to reset and you'll be able to block again.

I see that you dig up an older report. I will update the older case if you think all those issue might have the same source. At least, it seems so, but it's up to our specialists to confirm and fix it.

@EA_Ataashi I don't, sorry but I don't usually take videos of my gameplay. If I happened to record one and experience the bug again I'll post it here.

Thank you for the tips and for providing the studio with more detailed info than mine. Now let's hope the studio will figure this bug out and fix it asap.
