Try This
1. Exit game and EA. 2. Reboot. 3. Delete Entire SWBF2 folder from Documents. 4. Reboot. 5. Launch Game. See if they came back.
Worked for me. Have to reset a couple cards, but it's all there.

I don’t know if they fixed it already, but I was having the problem, and fixed it by unistalling / reinstalling the game, and also, I’m on PS plus, so I overwrote the data in the console with a yesterday backup I had in the cloud and, relogged.

So I've been playing on and off for about four years on PlayStation. As of today, May the 4th I made my yearly return. I open up BF2 and play a few rounds then I notice my guns and star cards and even some of my heros are missing. Even though in the milestones tab for troopers it says I've unlocked those guns I still can't use or unlock them. I tried to buy Anakin Skywalker again and it says error occured cannot purchase try again later. Idk what happened and I really hope this is a bug and isn't permanent. If it is I'm probably gonna stop playing. If anyone could help me with this issue I would greatly appreciate.

Progress: Missing. Levels are there but all skins (including pre-order skins), credits, crystals, cards, and even some heroes over level one hundred are locked and a ship.
Please fix this EA. I’ve been playing for years I can’t restart now.
This issue also appeared when the broken "Heroes Unlimited" event last year. The game needa patching for the mode to work. Otherwise it will be wise to cancel such broken event that messes up the game progress.
What a LET DOWN. Not only did you guys remove this game (along with others) from my account from the Origin transfer, but I bought it AGAIN to play with friends on May 4th, basically Star Wars Day, and the thing does not even work. When can we expect this to be fixed? Makes the game very un-fun when I have to play as if I have absolutely nothing and some guy with fully maxed out characters are wiping the floor with us and saying we stuck.
haha bro im worse off, this happened to me so i re downloaded my online save and it made it worse,, much worse..
all my saves are apparently corupt now so i literally lost everything its like my account has been re set, i now cant even use Obi, Anikin, Grievous, or Doku.. even though i had them all fully leveld up.
not to mention all my characters are now level zero with no level up points or any cards, Also i have zero game points to unlock anything when i had 100,000*
If i needed a reason to never play the game again heres my reason, I highly doubt Ea will do anything for me to get my account and all my characters back to plus level 40
I really cant be bothered with this crap anymore, starting the game again at this point is pointless its taken me years to level up every character,
Im betting 1,000$ my account is just left by Ea, but if someone from Ea sees this please level my account back ive paid a lot of money to play it through the years and if i have to start again i just simply wont play this game again ,

The level of my characters is there but the gear, weapons, any customization is now locked and it says it may be acquired through milestones. My guess is an account reset happened. For example, Grievous is level 56 but he isn’t unlocked yet
