After some time of playing, the game will freeze and crash. This never happend in beta any help?

I still have the same problem. The case freeze and than back-to-desktop without any error message.

make sure to post your OS/ Vid Card - with a solution that way other's can find it specific to them too :D wish it worked for me as i had already done that too, you are supposed to increase pf 1.5 x - check out for the max and set max and min the same, usually it's 1.5x your actual ram/memory so 8k would be 12k (example)... (*EDIT - Update after reading more about pagefile 🙂 the 1.5x is more for older systems, check out pagefile educational links at bottom of this post)Grats and wish mine worked too :P nvidia 840m - win 7 x64, although the trial is running at x32. Disabling the overlay didn't help. Still crashed around 10 minutes in. All my temps were at manageable levels, I still had free ram. really can't put a finger on this. windowed doesn't last. When I'm playing everything works fine. It's only after about 10 minutes that it just gives up and crashes. windows works fine though, origin is still open but battlefront crashes. Wasting preview hours just trying to get this to work...

I have the same problem. It happens on 40 players map which last long, sometimes after 30 min of playing (bye bye credits). When I am doing short multiplayers matches is ok, even when I am playing 1-2h non stop. Even once my origin crashed in the same time, maybe its origin problem.

It might be.. Origin doesn't crash at my PC, only the game. I use a AMD Radeon Grapic GPU. Maybe BFII is not stable enough with AMD. As I read there are some bugs regarding AMD GPUs atm.

Was just about to post this, yeah I did the same thing last night, and it seems solid now, though have only played a few rounds since the fix, so can't call it conclusive, but yeah, deleting the SW:BF2 files from Documents and restarting the game seems to have fixed my problems. I also got rid of the Alpha and Beta folders too in case they might be causing some conflict.
Right, time to get on tonight and make sure the fix has held.

The fix never holds for me, it does however allow for hours of game time. then I have to remove the user folder for bf2. Playing in borderless seems to make it happen faster.

Solved my problem by turning graphics down to high. Even though I have more than enough to run the game. I guess until they optimize ill stay on high. Edit: Nevermind literally crashed 5 seconds after posting this.

Yep there isn't a fix from what i've seen but I was able to bandaid it. Hopefully its dealt with before the game dies.

Watching my temps and usage % it makes no sense just opening battlefront is forcing temps to over double and my load is going to 98% even though I have dual 1080 tis and 64 GBs of ram and a 7770k this game should not take this much resources.

Yah it seems that when the game is running it is taking an ungodly amount of resources. My dual gpu ram and cpu are sitting around 99% and my temps are shooting up. I can run any other game in 4k on ultra and not clear 45%. Something is wrong with their optimization.

After week i tried everythink what i found on the internet to stop this. Nothing works. My patience is falling. If someone will be telling me that I do not meet minimum requirements it´s *. . There are friends who have worse GPU than me and it works fine for them. I think i will wait for one last update if it will freeze and crash again i give up with this game.

Same problem too.. I hope that they would fix it soon or they will lose another customer...

I can't believe the amount of time I've wasted trying to fix this. It feels like they put so much effort trying to milk every last cent from me that they forgot to send a functioning product. Does anyone know if EA or Dice gets involved in solving these issues or is it strictly on the community to sort out this mess?

Yeah i have try evrything too.. the multiplayer work but after maybe 2h the game crash and every time i launch the game i crash on startup, i'am in the obligation to use the repair on origin and the next launch, blue screen... after i can play again 1-2h in multiplayer, it's really boring.
