This game should be pulled

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Very unlikely that it would get pulled, as it's been out for almost 4 years and a lot of people like it and are still playing it, despite some of the flaws you've pointed out.

All that "pulling" the game would do is anger the people who still play it wouldn't help anyone not even the people (like myself) who are angered by the devs complete failure to patch or fix the game. If you don't like the game, don't play it, it is as simple as that.

The game is dead support-wise but there are still many people having fun with it, so pulling it just like that would contribute nothing except angering them.

let’s be real here for a moment everyone. Nobody plays this game because it’s any good … the ONLY reason we play this is because we’re fans of the Star Wars franchise; not because we think EA or DICE did a good or even descent job here.

Pulling this game would slightly upset Star Wars fans but BF 2015 still exists as do other titles like Fallen Order so it’s not as if we just wouldn’t pick up something else.

Battlefront II represents some of the lowest quality game design in the modern age. It’s clear that the motto for the Devs & Publishers here was “Good Enough”. 

Pulling this title would actually do more benefit for EA than leaving it. Look at the comment here; we have a newer player to the title (meaning he likely wasn’t an at  launch player) who got this game; played it, recognized all of the nonsense programming, and got a bad taste. What does that do for EA or DICE’s market reputation?? It puts it in the toilet. 

look; if you or I had made a shoddy piece of work would you want to put it out on display to get picked apart? No, we’d hide that embarrassment right off; and for good reason. 

BF 2 is not a money maker anymore; there’s no reason to leave it up. Those of us who own it, own it; but why leave it out in the market for people to pick up and realize how bad of a job you did?!? Do some damage control for once and yank it!! If you’re not going to fix what you broke at least stop putting it out there for more people to discover! 

@VetteC5RXThere was a lot of positive media when they scrapped lootboxes and released all those free DLCs, so it's not like it was all without purspose or gain at all.

Pulling the game now is not only a bit too late but would look even more embarassing.

Pulling means essentially killing multiplayer support because that's the only way you can even enforce removing the game from the market effectively and without leaving potential new players with the feeling of being excluded.

Why destroying the casual fun of people like that? The previous damage is already done and there aren't even real options.

No new Battlefront is planned, the classics are dead and BF2015 is not a game I'd have fun returning to at all.

@Edairman198526That might be your opinion, but personally I like almost everything in that game less than in BFII, including gameplay and balance. 

I mean the aerial and Iden Versio combine the most annoying and cheesy aspects of a BF2015 soldier.

For the maps, no thanks. I'm having enough of GA and walker assault OT era (cauldron type) maps that only encourage camping, boring combat and spawnfarming, the worst in BF2015.

The Supremacy mode with it's different objective layout and all is what both games should've had in the first place.

For heroes, which ones are even viable for a continued run except Bossk and Krennic? None probably, because even as Krennic one of the many cheaters will just one-shot you across the map with the DH-17.

All opinions and preferences of course. However, if they should ever pull BFII then I'm not going to play BF2015 again just because there are no other options left.

Except maybe to watch the warzone inside the chatbox once in a while. The community is very special.

@TRlALON There was positive media after the loot pulls because EA did the micro transaction system wrong … that in NO way validated the quality of gameplay.

I completely disagree; let BF 2015 be the multiplayer platform and let BF 2 be the solo. At least BF 2015 is FAR more stable and quality of play is better and more consistent.

As gamers we’ve come to accept low quality gameplay far too much. All of the chances this game had to at least be descent. 

There isn’t so much “casual fun” anymore! The honeymoon is over! More and more people are learning just how bad this game is and getting turned off. Read through Reddit threads on this game and it’s endless posts about this games problems that the Devs had plenty of time to address but chose not to. 

The longer this game stays on the market the more embarrassing it is. It would at least be a start at acknowledging the mess they’ve created and left behind. 

The consensus of the gaming community at large is that the gameplay value here isn’t worth still having it. 

@TRlALON There’s zero doubt that BF 2015 is more balanced than BF 2. By FAR.

Yeah, BF 2 may have more characters and more game variety but nearly all of it is broken due to bad design. 

it’s not even as if it’s just a few bugs we could avoid; it’s simply bad logic and bad design and you can’t get around that. BF 2 doesn’t provide a rewarding gameplay experience and the players who still do play it don’t feel that it does they’re just Star Wars fans. 

I would have more respect for EA & DICE if they said “ok, we know we really messed this up; we’re going to pull it and we’ll let you know when we can do better.” .. At least they’d be honest.

if you go to a restaurant and the chef gets your order way wrong do you just accept it or do you send it back to be done right? Well in this case we can’t get the game re-made because it’s end of life but id rather send a bad game back then let it continue to pull in people who discover it sucks; just like I’d send back a bad steak rather then keep it, even if I couldn’t have a new one.
