wont let me play with friends

i downloaded the game through steam and i went to go join a friend and i got the error code 4932. everywhere i go to find a fix, it says its a problem with origins however idk wtf that is and by the fact i cant find it anywhere makes me believes its no longer active. im logged in on EA in online mode. i've redownloaded the game twice now. i verified game files. i've tried launching it through the ea app. nothing works pls help.
