So I've been playing for the last several months and I keep getting a lot of the same crappy overpowered players that are cheating. As if this wasn't frustrating enough, several days ago I went to play online and I got a message saying to please wait connecting to EA servers. After half an hour it still hadn't connected. I have not been able to play at all for the last several days. My NAT type is open, I cleared my DNS, I've done the whole shut down and restart on my Xbox and Wi-Fi. I can't get an answer on how to fix this. Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the EA servers on Battlefront 1? Has anyone had any success fixing it?

Same here for a few days for both battlefront 1 and 2. I reinstalled battlefront 1 and no luck. It is on EA side. Any solution?

not yet unfortunately, some people on reddit and the battlefront discord said they were able to connect after trying over and over but I have not had such luck lol. I hope they fix this soon.

Yes, I've had the same issue for the past week on both Xbox Series X and Xbox One. Yesterday I was able to log on a and play on my Xbox One. I noticed the NAT type was Strict and not Open. I was able to play all day and starting up today, I could not connect again. NAT type is currently Open. Maybe a clue.

I keep trying to contact them but no **bleep** answer. My NAT type is open. I can play live on battlefront II but still no luck on the first one. Trying the live chat but time to wait keeps increasing

Update: same issue on Series X, but I removed XBox 360 stuff from my Xbox One and made space on my drive and then I got to log on today. Maybe a coincidence but this is the third time I been able to log in on my Xbox One.

I've now had consistent success getting my Xbox One to connect by the "clear local XBox 360 storage" item under System/Storage devices. I've done this twice. I have not tried it on my Series X yet. Unfortunately it seems to need to be done after each startup and it reboots your system, resulting in long startup times.

I'm experiencing the same issue; I cannot connect to EA servers to play Battlefront I. I've sent private messages to a couple of EA Community Leaders who have solved similar problems in recent years. Maybe they'll be able to help...
