PS4: You have lost connection to PlayStation Network

I keep receiving the "You have lost connection to Playstation(TM) Network, online features will be unavailable" error whenever I try to join online games. I have tried multiple game types, and still get the error.

I have found that I can occasionally join matches by continually cycling through the error (i.e try to join a match, get the error, try to join another match, etc...), but this process can take up to 30 minutes before I can get in a match. I have also found that I get the error less frequently when trying to join a game that a friend is already in.

There does not appear to be any issues with my PSN connection, as I remain logged in and can access other PSN services such as party chat and the PlayStation store. However, I still receive the error regardless I'm in a party or not.

I have forwarded the ports that were suggested on this site to improve battlefront connections.

Ok, I have been having this issue since the game came out. The one guy on here has the fix. It works. I noticed most used Time warner. Time Warner uses a combo modem/router. I have my own router. You have to bridge their router/modem and disable the wireless and dhcp. I just did all this and have not gotten the error since. It works! I do have all the ports forwarded on my router that they suggested. I dont know if you have to since I had done that previously. This happens to me specifically when I click on a friend from the top "who's on" bar. It will start to pull up the "invite/join game" menu screen, then kicks me out to the main screen and freezes the game for like two minutes before displaying the "disconnected from playstation network" error.

I have the same problem. I haven't been able to play for weeks now. Is EA seriously just ignoring this problem? We shouldn't have to jump through hoops like this to play a game.....

Still after the update i keep getting the same message: "You have lost connection to psn, online features will be unavailable"

Same problem. Pretty pathetic that I cant even play this game I bought. Thanks EA.
