I set the difficulty to story like @nagyfecske recommended and it worked for me! You have to change it to story, climb up to the rocks and run into them. They won't kill you. Click the climb button again. Heal yourself. Climb more, then do it again till you get to the top. The monster spawned for me at the top!
@TheJeffapotamous just climbing and no jumping? what path did you take?
the rocks kill me instantly regardless of what skill mode I'm on
No jumping, just climbing. It took me a couple of tries since hitting the rocks would make me fall, but I just went a bit to the right through it and kept catching myself. Here's a link to the gameplay.

Also, I think a few times I tried on Story I was dying immediately. This video was my third attempt. I don't know if the damage done is random, but I did notice my difficulty setting was back to Jedi Master when I respawned. Make absolutely sure you're on Story! @TheJeffapotamous thanks for the gameplay and the advice, unfortunately I think this only works for xbox as I just instantly die as soon as I hit the rocks and Im on story mode
Dang, I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know if it's like that on XBox, but that's how I got through on PC! Hopefully the patch comes soon for the rest of you. It's worth the wait, the rest of the storyline on Dathomir is really neat!
