I am having the same issue. Game will not run for more than 5 or 10 minutes before crashing. To be more specific, it has never happened directly at launch, and I don't think it happens during cut scenes (although it may have once or twice, I can't remember at this point). It usually happens totally at random during gameplay; sometimes in combat, sometimes when I'm just exploring, and other times when I'm just sitting there. I keep getting the errors LowLevelFatalError and LoginId error. I tried pretty much every fix I could find on the internet: Updating GPU drivers, repairing the game via steam/origin, setting GPU to factory clock speeds, not running programs like MSI Afterburner at all to minimize background processes, I tried underclocking my GPU, locking the frame rate to 30 fps, I cleared my shader cache (after updating drivers), etc. There was one instance where I was able to play it for 2-3 hours with no problems. One of my ideas was that maybe it has problems with Steam, so I uninstalled the game and reinstalled via Origin. Right after that, I was able to play completely uninterrupted for 2-3 hours and it didn't crash, I quit the game normally when I was done. Went to play it again today, and the crashes are right back; that's when I updated my drivers and cleared my shader cache. The only "fix" that seemed to work (temporarily) was a clean install via Origin. I don't know what started making it crash again. Amazing game, it's a shame it's nearly unplayable on PC; wish I got it for xBox.

Attached is my DxDiag text file. Please find a solution for this soon... I'm dying to play more of this game!!!

  • Hello EA? Would be nice to hear back from you as this issue has yet to be addressed

    Hi @xXGAGEOXx,

We're not seeing the numbers behind this that would indicate a hardware combination fault. Are you using any kind of CPU/GPU tuning software like MSI Afterburner or the like?

If so, can you try disabling it and let me know if this persists?
  • @EA_Cade

I have tried using MSI Afterburner/AMD Radeon Software and I've also tried not using anything at all. When using tuning programs I've tried running at default clocks and underclocks of all speeds. Whether I use the programs or not the game still crashes. Attached is the most recent update on my troubleshooting process through 3 of the live agents. Also to be noted, I've tried everything in the 2 posts regarding this issue in the answers HQ forums (excluding things specific to NVIDIA).

Basic summary of what I've tried:

    - I've tried setting the date back to 2019 for the 'denuvo bug'

    - 'repair game' option in both steam and origin

    - used DDU to uninstall drivers and installed the newest one (version 19.12.3)

    - uninstalled the game and fresh install via Origin, NOT steam

    - locked frame rate to 30 fps

    - tried switching fullscreen settings from normal/borderless, etc

    - tried turning all settings to medium and turning off all optional effects

    - disabled 'real time thumbnails'

    - verified windows desktop scaling (DPI) set to 100%, not 125 or something else

    - performed windows 'clean boot'

    - cleared Origin cache

    - Turned off Origin in-game for Jedi Fallen Order

    - set the game to run as admin

    - disabled windows virtual memory

  • Also forgot to add, the 3rd agent I talked to concluded that there's pretty much nothing left to try, that it must be a bug with the game and that EA was aware of the issue. He recommended that I keep an eye out for updates from EA and wait for a patch to come out. There's gotta be something else I can try I hope? If not I guess I'll just have to not play the game til a patch comes out or just deal with the crashes every 5 minutes...

  • Just saw a new update for the game but in the patch notes there was no mention of any fixes for any major bugs such as this. Any updates for us EA??? I’d really love to get back to playing this game

  • Still no response from EA... It'd be nice to at least get an update even if it's to say you haven't made any progress; it would be nice to know that you haven't forgot about everybody who has this issue. Still haven't played the game since... might just try to get my money back at this point. Sad because this is a really awesome game

  • Try under clocking your RAM a little its what got the game stable for me. My RAM was running at 3600 and I clocked it down to 3400 and the game doesn't crash anymore
