I've tried this a few times, and it does seem to help in connecting to individual game.

Bump. I'm getting this issue too. Haven't been able to play in last 2 days.

Same here. Would really like to hear about a proper fix. Starting a network test as a potential fix is a joke.

Then I would recommend providing some information about your internet service, as it is clear that this issue isn't widespread - if it were, you'd be reading about it in the headlines.

@MontyKy one additional step you might try is setting your router to use the Google DNS, as listed in this help article at the bottom: https://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/

Not sure if that will work, but fingers crossed.

Also, the "Test connection" work around is no longer working for me today.

agreed !! this is definitly EA's fault pppl are having this issue wit Xbox n PC tooo. so yeah fiddling wit internet conection might get me into 1 game but only after trying 10 times n seeing a cant connect msg is insane. EA needs to fix this game or give us our money back!

This same problem began with BF4 on my PS4.  It turns out that when my cable company switched out my cable modem a few months back the modem it recieved from them had built in wifi and was also a router.  This cause my physical hardware to be setup as double routered because with the old modem I already had a personal wifi router.  I had my ps4 plugged in thru Ethernet port on my personal wifi router, so all I did was move the ether net plug to the cable modem router and this foxed my problem without having to configure port forwarding or setting up a static ip for my ps4!
