Star Wars Battlefront Beta [problem] black screen on launch

Not really, the game works for me on i7 950 and gtx 970 (win7 sp1)

My friend fixed this problem.You must install Service Pack 1, that's all.

My solution: create a "user.cfg" on the Battlefront folder and force DX10 (same of Bf4)

Fixed my black Screen with a new install of Origin in the dafault path of the Installation.

Before that, Origin was installed on E: and it doesnt work.

i went to my Nvidia options and in the star wars battlefront tab i choose to use just the Nvidia gpu, not the intel one, and now it works, but now i'm stuck at main menu, as my keyboard does not work

Me too. It then kicks me out telling me my graphics driver crashed, and computer locks up. I got it to work by typing alt+enter on the 'press enter' screen to force window mode. From that point on I resized the window manually filling in my 24" monitor and the game played flawlessly. This is on 6 year old build of i5-750 and AMD HD 5850 1GB.

*edit: In other news it worked flawlessly at starup on both my PS4 and my Xbox One. I was gently reminded of why I haven't upgraded my PC when I spent an hour digging for answers on how to get the game to work while it downloaded onto my consoles.

I had the same thing pop up. When the initial game screen pops up hit alt+enter and go from there. It worked for me by putting the game in window mode.

oh man, don't you know that over 13 million devices and pc's use windows 10 now?

that s*** only works on win7.

It's taking EA too much time to fix it in my opinion, although the game is still in beta I think fixing the problem isn't such an issue for EA workers.

they just have to configure the game right.

I have tried all things aswell, reinstalling, checking, updating bla bla bla..

nothing really changes something, same black screen and "Not responding". 😬

This is kinda BS. Get a black and white screen when I launch the game,
