Ad or cutscene audio plays over gameplay on PC

Only started August 11 for me, as soon as I launch the game and the EA app loads, an ad or my most recent cutscene audio starts playing over the Respawn and Lucasfilm splash screens, the file optimization screen, the main menu, and during the gameplay. I have videos of the launch and quitting the game. The unwanted audio never stops, which is preventing me from playing the game. The same thing happens when launching from Steam or EA app. I'm trying to discuss with EA Help, but it's 1 email per day, and my case seems to keep getting reset (they've asked 3 times for my email, username, and platform).

Troubleshooting: 

Verified Steam game files, no errors

Uninstalled and reinstalled EA app

Disabled Steam "Notify me about additions or changes to my games, new releases, and upcoming releases" as directed by EA Help

Ran the App Recovery tool in the EA app

Ran DISM for Windows

Uninstalled and reinstalled the game

    That is funky, for sure.

    You've done all the troubleshooting I would have done.

    You might try the following (in order):

    1. uninstall the game and all launchers - e.g. Steam, EA app, Origin (if still there)
    2. install Steam
    3. install EA app
    4. install the game

    If that doesn't work, you may want to contact EA support directly.

    While it's a drag, you could do a Windows system reset. That would likely take care of the issue.
