Are DL-44 Blaster & Rebel Hero Lightsaber sets functionally different or skins?

I enjoyed Fallen Order and am thinking of picking up Survivor too now that it's on sale, but I need to know if the blaster and saber sets included in the Deluxe edition are more than just different s...

I had that strange suspicion, despite them not being listed as "cosmetic" like the rest of the items in the Deluxe edition. Seems like they're splitting hairs over something that I assume has various colors you can select, vs a static custom skin. BOTH are merely cosmetic to me. ☹️
