Bug in Bode boss fight keeps me from progressing when the portals are made.

Summarize your bug When I confront Bode on Tanalorr and initiate the boss fight. I beat him through his fist phase, but when Merrin creates the portal thing that Cal flies through, Cal gets spit back out of it and Bode is just standing there. Bode doesn't attack or anything and I am even able to force push him off the edge and kill him. After doing that the game is just bugged and the music continues to play. I should note that I was able to get past this part 2 or 3 times before this happened, I just died a few times and respawned and this happened. I tried restarting the application and even the console and it still happens every time.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Fight Bode and die a few times in the process. There may be a certain angle, ability, or attack thar either Cal or Bode has to perform just prior to Merrin creating her portal that bugs the game out.
What happens when the bug occurs? I get to the part where Bode force pulls me in, and Merrin creates the portal and Cal goes through it and just comes back out and Bode is just standing there. From there the game is bugged.
What do you expect to see? Bode standing there bugged out with Merrins portal still there. You can even have Cal jump through it again with the same thing happening every time.

I should add that this is the first actual bug I have ran into. Sadly though, this one prevents me from continuing the game completely and it truly is a crippling bug to come up. I hope I can receive guidance or a fix soon.
I found a fix thanks to someone on Reddit. When this bug happens, after you are spit out of Merrin's portal and Bode is standing near the edge not attacking and bugged out. You will want to force pull Bode away from the edge and fight him from there with your lightsaber. Bode will remain relatively defenseless throughout the entire fight and it is a very cheesy fight, but this will allow you to continue on in the story and progress past this point. I hope this helps anyone running into this issue!
