Bug list on the PS4 version of the game
On Ps4 Pro (running the digital release on an internal Samsung 2TB SDD) I currently have the following issues in the games as of hotfix 1.02:
- Intro animated graphics and general character menu animations are running below 30 FPS;
- Force manipulation of objects like orbs or bomb bots also drastically dips the FPS;
- LOD issues in larger stages like Koboh, results in severe white flash pop-in for some of the scenery detail, some of it close to the character. This happens when you turn the camera;
- Severe LOD issues in the workbench, affecting the blaster and lightsaber, it takes a long time (minutes) for the chosen textures to be displayed on the models, especially regarding the Accents category;
- Bit crushed audio (like it's underwater) on random tracks during fixed cutscenes. Dialogue, SFX, ambient audio and sometimes music. This happens in the Fallen Order recap video as well.
Before 1.02, Cal used to occasionally be locked to a stance and couldn't even holster the lightsaber unless he interacted with something else. Never happened since, might have been one of the things addressed. The other noteworthy point is that 30FPS is generally stable throughout the game, that's impressive for a port of this magnitude.
Please try to address some of the issues above. The LOD problems are immersion breaking in such a beautiful game and the bit crushed audio in cutscenes is too distracting, never experienced such an issue in a AAA title, so please don't overlook this, it really knocks the generally impeccable quality of this port. Thank you for bringing this to the PS4 guys, this is a beautiful and generous sequel for Fallen Order, so many things to do and find!
