@Furajir Did you change the bindings on the controller? If so, try pressing the original button for Force attack once, then using the button you've re-bound to actually shoot the blaster. This is a known issue:
If you haven't changed the binding, let me know.

@theoldgasman You're supposed to press the key for special attack, F by default. If that's not working, try turning off tutorials in the game settings.

I am having the exact same problem I can not break away from the test dummy it won't let progress any further If I restart the game will I get stuck back in the same place ?

@Duparquet If you changed your key or button binding for Force attack, please press the original key or button first, then the one you're using now.
Alternately, reset the bindings to defaults, then go back to what you want to use once you've made it past this point.

Only the F key for Force attack will work. You must have Force attack bound to the F key. That's the key you have to use to fire your blaster. No other key binding will work for firing the blaster. I know how you feel, it's extremely annoying that EA still hasn't fixed that bug.
