Force Lift/Slam not working well

Sometimes when it is prompted to hold R1 down and then press x or o to use the force on doors or other things the prompt is only shown for a split second making it impossible to press the button before it disappears. I experienced this a few times throughout the game already but it seemed to have gone away after restarting the game. But now however often I restart and replay since my last safe the button glitch always appears at the same door during the confront Dagan at Koboh Mission.
