My game keeps crashing after starting the game from the main menu with this error:
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 163] Shader compilation failures are Fatal.
I've tried just about everything I could think of/find but I was hoping maybe just maybe there is something else I can try ;(
Those steps did not work for me. I also get the same error even after doing the update.
Hello, ever since launch I have been trying to get the game to work on PC but it constantly crashes when i start a new game even after the numerous patches/updates.
This is the error that I keep getting below:

If u use Nvidia card with RTX, try to disable RTX in video driver settings for this game or launch it with DX11 and check the problem.
How do you disable RTX if the game crashes before you can enter any options, much less graphics options?
Been having similar issues with the game since launch. Both on PC and XSX.
Months after release and the devs still haven't been able to make their game fully playable to everyone. Mind blowing.
I have the same error. Starting cut scene with flash backs from the first game runs fine, then the game starts for a split second you can see a ship on your screen and then it crashes.
And gives this error:
"LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 168] Shader compilation failures are Fatal."
Would be happy to submit a dxdiag if I had somewhere to send it.
Just crazy how many issues new games have these days. Used to be if your graphics driver was up to date you were golden.
