Just discovered this issue, same story as everyone else! 46% of the game complete spent hours to get to this point and reluctant to start again! Is this likely to be resolved or are we all gonna have to bite the bullet and restart!
I'm a PS5 player and got stuck in the same way as everyone else in this thread but I found a workaround! This will only work if you have PlayStation Plus and cloud savings and probably not for everyone that has that: if you have the ps plus cloud save activated there is a possibility that there is an old savefile in the cloud that you could restore and in that way start your game from an earlier point - you will loose some playtime, but not loose your game completely. I was lucky and found a day old save game that I was able to restore and overwrite the save on my console.
You will find this under PS5 settings - -> Saved data and settings - - > Saved data (PS5) - - > Download or delete from cloud storage
Search for Jedi survivor and if you are lucky you'll find data older than the time when you got stuck that you can download and overwrite the existing data on the console.
