What does the error say?
I'm having the same issue. When I try purchasing Jedi Survivor it says:
Give it another try
Something went wrong
It's currently %25 off on the Xbox Microsoft Store.
I tried purchasing the game via my account in the Microsoft Store on my android phone, and I get the same message saying "something went wrong".

- @EA_Aljo I have almost the same issue I bought it on the Microsoft store and it said as owned but won’t download every time i click on the install button it says installation stopped

Try going to the Xbox store in a web browser and initializing the download from there. You'll need your Xbox powered on or in sleep mode for this to work.
