Jedi Survivor Preload error
I've been trying to preload Jedi Survivor since the moment it became available but it keeps failing. It gets stuck at the preparing stage and then x amount of time passes and just says download error...

I hit download and it just says preparing for about 10 minutes then cancels the download. I meet all the system requirements and I have the disk space so idk what’s the problem. If I can’t fix it I want a refund

Could you please perform an EA app recovery to see if that fixes the issue?
Also, please make sure that you have plenty of hard drive storage available, as discussed here.
Performing the EA app recovery does not fix the issue for me at least. And I have over 300 GB of storage available
@EA_Leeuw this did not work. Is there any known fix to the issue yet?
I got the game via epic games and my EA Epic Games accounts are linked and have done the app recovery and restarted the app and my PC, continues to not download.

I've been able to fix this
I use a network management tool (NetLimiter) to control bandwidth as I have a 40mb connection.
Apparently when I capped the connection for the "EA Background Service" to 100 kb/s (to have a stable connection during the day ) which is responsible for the downloads that would crash the program.
When i removed this download cap the application works as intended.

App recovery does not fix the issue I've tried 5 times.
@EA_Leeuw app recovery doesnt work pls fix it we just wanna play the game and this is frustrating
EA just sent me an email for my support request closed and the issue was resolved when the game still doesn't download download and i haven't received any other information from them in the past 3 days. It feels like they don't want to help me really.
Same here! My problem is somehow resolved now they say. I believe that their customer support just wants to close the open tickets (which is extremely infuriating).
