They've had time. There are months old posts about this bug. 

@EA_Rtas yet another day with no response. Utterly shameful. 

@EA_Rtas Yet another week goes by with NO response from you, NO date of a fix, NO answers as to why this has taken now nearly two months to fix, NO refunds. Utterly utterly SHAMEFUL! I and I hope many others will NEVER buy another EA game because of this shameful treatment of your customers. I have personally sent you over 50 PMs and you have yet to respond to A SINGLE ONE. Why will you not fix this literal GAME BREAKING bug? Why will you not respond? Why has this taken FAR TOO LONG! We demand answers!

Hey Rtas, brother we are stuck i this Singing Ruins - Door path and its been 2 months now we all are waiting this glitch to be fixed, i want to complete this game. Please fix it.

I have the same problem, there is still no solution.

btw, this bug is 2years old, and recently celebrated a birthday.

When is a fix coming?

Literally just registered to say that this has happened to me as well. After investing 15 hours into the game I feel majorly let down by EA. The product is clearly broken and there has clearly been no visible effort from any party to fix it. I will be making a formal complaint through the relevant channels and will expect compensation. Selling a damaged product as fit for purpose is illegal in most countries. I urge anyone who reads this to act accordingly and maybe then they will actually pull their socks up and patch the bug.
