I have this issue too. I have tried:
- 1. repairing the game files through the EA app
- 2. repairing the EA app through the help menu
- 3. repairing the EA app through the tool in the files for the app
- 4. reinstalling Jedi Survivor
- 5. fully uninstalling the EA app and all leftover files and reinstalling it
- 6. restarting my PC
- 7. factory resetting my AMD Radeon drivers
- 8. disabling all AMD enhancements and optimizations
- 9. disabling In-Game Overlay in the EA app settings
- 10. relocating my save files to try and launch the game in a new state
- 11. enabling "run as administrator" for the EABackgroundService.exe
- 12. enabling "run as administrator" for EADesktop.exe
- 13. allowing all EA services through my firewall on both public and private networks
- 14. I removed all instances of saved mod files from my Saved Games > Respawn > Jedi Survivor folder and since the game is freshly installed there should be no other instances of modded files
Nothing worked. I have more than 160 hours in this game and now for some reason I just can't play my game. It's extremely frustrating because I paid $70 for this just for it to stop working with no way to fix it.
When I click play on the game, it loads into the intro cinematic and plays that until the "Star Wars: Jedi Survivor" screen and then freezes for a few seconds, then crashes and my EA app reopens with this error screen.
