Load save returns to Main Menu, part of HUD visible

Whenever I try to load into a save the game loads me back into the menu but I still have the UI elements like the health bar and the exp bar as if I was loaded into the game. Even if I keep pressing ...

Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Whenever I try to continue from my last save, whether I just hit continue on the main menu or go into load journey, I am forced back to the main menu, but the heath bar and stance indicators are visible in the bottom right.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hit continue or try to directly load a save.
What happens when the bug occurs? User is forced back to menu with the heath bar and stance indicators are visible in the bottom right.
What do you expect to see? I expect to load into the game.

      It doesn't lol, itsthis new bug patch that has broken the game. I am also having this issue and my game was fine before the patch. THIS is not our fault, its EA's fault. fix your game

        @RellyDan98 yeah since the update i cant even play the game, tried verifying game files and even redownloaded the game.
