Load save returns to Main Menu, part of HUD visible

i've had this same issue but only in a different spot i have no idea what to do but i can tell you that reinstalling the game does nothing

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Meditate, rest before the boss fight, maybe try to fight it too then quit the game and load the save
What happens when the bug occurs? It stays on the start screen, the save doesn't load and you can see Cal's HUD, and open the menu as well.
What do you expect to see? The save to be loaded and play the game

Summarize your bug Your game is broken and an absolute scam, i get 48% through the story, and today as of may 7th i opened up survivior, and i click continue the game goes into a loading screen and then sends me back to main menu and shows my health and stances at the bottom of the screen, ive reset cpu, game and verified integrity, I will accept nothing but a refund for this dispicable display of Careless game developers releasing a console port to pc, just for cash grab. refund my product. I am not a happy customer.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have no clue. the last time i was playing was roughly around the time Zee gets kidnapped and you have to go save her, i beleive i was at the first checkpoint before the boss run. ever since, whenever i launch game it shows normal accept i can see my Health bar and my saber styles at the bottom and will begin a main menu loop whenever i click continue.
What happens when the bug occurs? Will not allow me to play the game, gets set into a constant loop of main menu, and am able to see health bar and saber styles at bottom of screen, essentially I paid for a demo at full price video game because it is broken and can no longer play
What do you expect to see? I expect a full refund on my purhcase, and i would appreciate keeping the game if the issue is resolved, I am unable to play your game and it has nothing to do with my computer specs as i have already progressed the game and have roughly 15 hour play time. this is unacceptable and i would greatly appreciate a refund.

I dont actually think the game is a scam, it was actually an amazing game, what i think is the scam is you did not release an optomized game for pc. this is upsetting and i already knew about this before purchase, however those issues had to do with frames. my issue is game breaking, unplayable, and unacceptable at a full release for a video game. consider wisely. thank you,

If you would like photographic or video proof, please let me know as i am willing to download a recording program so i can resolve this as quick as possible

Not sure what to add except from the title, after pressing "Continue" or going through "Load Journey" I'm returned to the main menu with the stance/BD-1 visor/stim UI overlaid in the bottom-left. I've tried verifying game cache through Steam and using the non-existent repair option in the EA app without success.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt to load save file (Nova Garon) either through the Continue option or the Load Journey option
What happens when the bug occurs? Game attempts to load, then brings me back to the main menu screen, with the game UI loaded.
What do you expect to see? Loading into Nova Garon at the landing pad meditation point next to the Mantis

Issue occurred after downloading Update Patch 4, released to PC on 5/10/2023.

Have the latest patch installed this morning.

I was at the Rayvis boss fight (did not die at the end of the 2nd phase that I can remember), and saved to come back.

Clicking 'continue' at the menu screen acts like it's loading, then goes back to the menu screen with my blaster charge HUD now displayed.  

This happens on 2 different computers with the game installed, both through the EA app, both on Win 11.

There appears to no longer be an option to restore a local save on the EA app.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Rayvis fight; beat first 1/2 of the fight, fail 2nd half, die at 1/4 health, save, exit game and try to re-launch.
What happens when the bug occurs? When clicking continue or load game from the title menu, the game acts like it's loading as normal, then shows my blaster charge HUD and a couple other things, but goes back to the title menu. Unable to actually get back into the game
What do you expect to see? To be taken back to my game.
