PC game crashes right at start

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug After the intro logos go through, ending with the Lucasfilm Games going into the Jedi Survivor logo, the game crashes. It gives me an Unreal error saying the game crashed, giving me the option to send the report or not. I have re-installed the game, re-installed the EA app, shutdown and restarted, several times.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know. That's why I'm asking how I can play this game I just spent $70 on.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game crashes completely, before I get a chance to play it. I've played 0% of the game so far because of this bug.
What do you expect to see? THE GAME.

    I've done loads of *fixes* since I've bought jedi , nothings worked, still not going on the home page. after jedi survivor comes up then nothing, I've spent over £100 on this because I really been looking forward to it. I've updated the driver, verify the game files, done   codes that I've seen on the internet, uninstalled on reinstalled the game ,I run out of options, any help would be fantastic

    Summarize your bug My game will freeze on the electronic arts screen when loading in, then crash 2 minutes later
    How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If it currently does not happen to you then it most likely doesn't affect you.
    What happens when the bug occurs? Almost every time I try to load into the game, it will freeze on the same Electronic arts screen, then crash 2 minutes later. I will include the crash code below. LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 1296] GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 120.00 secs
    What do you expect to see? I expect for the game to continue to load.

    Whenever I attempt to load into the game 99% of the time it will freeze on the Electronic Arts screen, I only say 99% because there has been a few times when it starts up right away. If I want to play I have to alt tab out and stop the application before trying to restart it. This usually doesn't fix the issue and I have had occasions where I've stopped and started 30+ times. sometimes I will let it sit for 2 minutes until it crashes and I can send and error report which I have noticed does nothing. I will put what error shows up down below, unfortunately I can't link a video as it tells me any file I try to link is too large.

    Try the following troubleshooting, thanks.

    Windows minimum requirements

    • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
    • Processor (AMD):Ryzen 5 1400 or Equivalent
    • Processor (Intel):Intel Core i7-7700 or Equivalent
    • Memory: 8 GB
    • Graphics card (AMD): Radeon RX 580 or Equivalent
    • Graphics card (NVIDIA): GTX 1070 or Equivalent
    • DirectX: 12 Compatible video card or equivalent
    • Hard-drive space: 155 GB

  • When I start the game it lags then short before the menü it crashes.I got all minimum requirements but in the task manager the ram comes up to 50% and cpu to 30%.

    My Hardware:

    16gb Ram

    Amd Radeon RX 5700 xt

    AMD Ryzen 7

    Windows 10

  • Jedi Survivor crashes on startup after the Jedi Survivor logo appears on the screen.
    I have already tried to open the app as administrator, the PC requirements are met and the PC is not overclocked or anything. I bought it with the Play pro Pass in the EA app.
    I have also uploaded a picture of the crash report.

Downloaded through EA app, attempted several uninstalls and reinstalls, attempted repairing game file, clearing DirectX cache, shutting down/restarting computer, uninstalling and reinstalling EA app, nothings working. Gets to title before title screen and crashes.

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure
    What happens when the bug occurs? Crash support pops up to send feedback
    What do you expect to see? A working game

    Tried all solutions, may need to wait for a patch. Would be great to get a refund of EA Play Pro in the meantime..

  • Hi all,

    I am attempting to play on PC. I got 22 hours in, waited for a few patches to see if performance would improve, but now...I fire the game up via Steam, it run through the splash screens, ending in the Jedi: Survivor logo, then crashes to desktop. Every. Single. Time. I opened a ticket with EA support, but it has been crickets and their system is such that every time I try to look at my ticket, they try and close it unless I "resume" it, which feels incredibly shady. 

    I have:

    1. Restarted my PC
    2. Verified by game files on Steam 
    3. Verified my Nvidia drivers are up to date
    4. Uninstalled and reinstalled by Nvidia graphics drivers
    5. Reinstalled the game

    My system: 

    AMD Ryzen 7 5800x

    GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ULTRA ATX

    GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra 

    G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB RAM
