Hi, I just recently bought an Acer Nitro Laptop with an Rtx 3050ti Graphics card, I see on the system requirements this game needs 8Gb of VRam, does this means I won't be able to run this game on my Laptop since it only has 4Gb of VRam? Please help thanks.
Community ManagerThanks, yeah that would really suck, I can try to tweak the settings, resolution or texture resolution, I usually do, but if the game just crashes or doesn't run, there isn't anything I can do about that, I'll wait and see what happens when the game comes out, and if other people can run the game, on the low resolution of low setting, my GPU isn't that old, but laptops don't usually get a lot of Vram, there are many new gaming laptops probably more than 80% of them with less than 8gb of Vram, even Rtx 3060 on the laptop doesn't have 8gb of Vram only 6gb. That's the difference of a $800 laptop to a $1600 laptop. only the Rtx 3070's have 8gb of Vram. I hope they just make low texture version option available. I can't change my laptop I spent $800 a month ago, can't return it, I can run Cyberpunk at 60fps on Medium settings, at low resolution and that is a very demanding game. I hope they make a lower res version of this game too.

I recently attempted to play the Dead Space remake on a 6GB Radeon RX 5600 XT despite it requiring at least an 8GB RX 5700. In that case, it wasn't just running poorly. I could barely make it through the menus.
Early reviews are out, and it looks like PC performance of Jedi Survivor is really poor, even on high end hardware. The game allegedly also suffers from constant stutters, which is becoming the norm for Unreal Engine games. Skill Up tweeted that it's a fantastic game that you should absolutely avoid if you play on PC.
Alternatively, EA has a refund policy for PC games, so maybe you could try it, and request a refund if it doesn't run as well as you like.
I will definitely try the game on my below spec PC, just to see how that goes, but I'll probably end up playing on PS5. I'm very curious about the Steam Deck benchmarks as well. 😛

@Fred_vdp, don't forget, there will be a Day 1 patch. Who knows what kind of fixes and performance improvements it brings. 🙂
Yeah unfortunately I'm actually not worried about my GPU anymore it looks like people with RTX 4090 which has 24Gb of Vram can't get more than 60fps, and that is the best GPU in the market, I'm definitely waiting on this.
