Fixed it on my LG C1. Exit the game.
Switch HDR Tone Mapping to HGIG.
Then launch the game, HDR mode was automatically re-enabled and it looks great.
Funny enough when I switched Tone Mapping back on in the game it stayed fine!
Now it's just the HORRENDOUS FPS on PS5
This is a workaround not a fix and why the hell do we need to mess up our hdr setting for 1 game and then need to put it back again to normal for another game. So it's a no go.
You know what needs to happen, fix your game ASAP, you guys should of tested your games before release, instead of the money grabbing and making the share holders happy.
Same HDR issue with the PS5 and LG C2 combination. Game is unplayable.
Patch came out today, did not fix the HDR issue. I am using a LG C1 OLED and the black crush makes this game unplayable. I may act like a snob, but I paid for a game to play on PS5 with HDR...I am not going to turn HDR off. I have done the work around and played several hours of the game, enough to get off the first planet, but I got tired of having to redo the work around every time I want to play. Seems all the HDR issues are with LG OLEDs.....Please Fix!!!!!!
I have the C2 and changed the PS5 HDR settings as follows and Star Wars Survivor works with HDR.
Screen 1 - just invisible
Screen 2 - just invisible
Screen 3 - 1 point up from pure black

Frustrating to see so many games coming out not polished. I have high hopes for this game...hopefully they can get the HDR issue fixed. Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores looks insane on my TV. I will say, what I have seen when using the workaround, does look fantastic. But.....it's a workaround. It also seems unfair to all the creators and people who worked on it to release it in the state it's in, as they seem to take the brunt of the blame. I honestly thought releasing this game on May the 4th would have been really cool!!!
