So I just bought this in the Easter sale for PS5 slim ... and it is barely playable. The game says it is updated so I assume it's past all the issues, however I have serious screen tearing, the game actually goes blank, the TV signals that it has lost connection for a few seconds and the images comes back all garbled.
I have set the console to 1080p, set VRR on, taken off HDR .... in the game I switched to performance mode, taken off all the effects and STILL no relief.
I am willing to play at lower fps and low end graphics at this point BUT not being able to see what is on screen is unplayable. - These happens worse when on the ship and trying to walk around to the different areas, sometimes during combat and it WAS bad near water, it is glitchy but better now.
If anyone knows what setting you all use to be able to play comfortably PLEASE share. I have a TV that supports 1080p 4K and 8K not 1440p
