Star Wars Jedi: Survivor dont start

Hello, I am unable to launch Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PC through the EA App.

The game shows the error: “An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.” I have already tried reinstalling the game and the EA App, clearing cache, and restarting my PC, but the issue still persists. Other EA games work normally, and only this game is affected.

I would appreciate any help or guidance on how to resolve this.

  • Very similar problem, lots of similar cases as well, I just keep liking and replaying to anyone with same issue to hopefully get some attention to this. Still nothing from EA though. Sorry for your trouble, but you're not alone!

I previously played Jedi Survivor (PC) during a promotional period through EA (2021 I believe, had since uninstalled the game and app). I recently purchased the game on Steam, and redownloaded/updated/logged in to EA app. When launching via steam, it starts the EA app and says "preparing game", I can see the game appear in Task Manager briefly, but quickly closes and the EA App shows “an error on our end caused the launch to fail." I have repaired EA app, uninstall+reinstall+delete prior cache data, made sure services are running on auto, made sure steam was updated, verified files, all I can think of on a hardware end, nothing has made a difference.

I believe my entitlement may be conflicting between the promotional version and the Steam purchase. Is it possible to refresh or repair the entitlement on my account?

I went through all the common fixes, but nothing worked until I rolled back to an older NVIDIA GeForce driver (581.80). That completely resolved the issue for me—might be worth trying if you're stuck. Snabba-Berit07
