I'm in the same boat. I've spent the past 5 hours troubleshooting. and the only usable info I can provide is that jedi survivor was updated recently (as seen in the game's update history on steamdb). I have yet to get the game to open a single time. I can't even get a splash screen.
the text in the changelog says something about changing from unsupported graphics on the steamdeck to "#SteamDeckVerified_TestResult_LauncherInteractionIssues" in the game's internal tags. 2 days after that there was an update posted that seemed to be a change to the ea app install script.
since I tried pretty much everything I found over 5hrs of scouring forums/reddit/youtube/ai-aggregated-search-results and continued to get the same error you posted an image of, I'm assuming that the only fix at this point is "wait for a patch".
it really doesn't help that there is zero information you can get about the game's settings via the ea app when using a steam copy of the game. I've been trying to diagnose this with zero info in the error message, blank crash logs, and no configuration options in the launcher that actually runs the game. there just aren't enough tools for a user to know what's going on here. - samclou1919 days agoSeasoned Newcomer

Very similar issue as well, still no word from EA. I bought Fallen Order and Survivor as a bundle, FO played fine but I've never gotten past the "something on our end" error for Survivor. I can't even refund it because they were bought as a bundle and if I want a refund for 1 it takes them both :( YOU'RE NOT ALONE!!
(my original post to them below, several others with same problem as well)
I previously played Jedi Survivor (PC) during a promotional period through xbox gamepass. I recently purchased the game on Steam, and redownloaded/updated/logged in to EA app. When launching via steam, it starts the EA app and says "preparing game", I can see the game appear in Task Manager briefly, but quickly closes and the EA App shows “an error on our end caused the launch to fail." I have repaired EA app, uninstall+reinstall+delete prior cache data, made sure services are running on auto, made sure steam was updated, verified files, all I can think of on a hardware end, nothing has made a difference.
I believe my entitlement may be conflicting between the promotional version and the Steam purchase. Is it possible to refresh or repair the entitlement on my account?

I went through all the common fixes, but nothing worked until I rolled back to an older NVIDIA GeForce driver (581.80). That completely resolved the issue for me—might be worth trying if you're stuck. samclou19 YT_VgBliz IxAmxSleepy FancyBro YknrFish

Either EA has actually fixed it now, or some other crazy stuff has happened. I had some PC problems of my own, and had to uninstall my driver, to download the one before the most recent. I use Geforce Nvidia 1080 Ti for windows 10.
My game runs... IT FREAKING RUNS. I truly hope EA fixed something, but either way, I hope this information is useful :D - Mr_Ballgame_2310 days agoNewcomer
