star wars survivor Sheltered Hollow

I am having issues with this door:

1. As soon as I am done with beating the boss and waking up. The mission "Travel to Cerre's Base" starts.
2. I follow my love and collect the stim cart.
3. Complete both jump trails and run up to a deadend.
4. To my right a door with a dark crystal. To my left, a high wall with a shortcut. My Map is suggesting to go through that door but I can't open it. I've looked at walkthroughs and seen an option of "R1" to open but not on mine. Is this a bug or am I missing something? 

Help me Obi Wan Kanobi you're my only hope.
