The game keeps crashing on me.

Hey, I downloaded jedi survivor through steam. For whatever reason the game keeps crashing. I can play for a few hours or a few minutes. Either way it's getting bad. It crashed a bit ago and it erased my game. I sucked it up put the game on easy and speed ran it almost until I was back where I was. Then the game crashed again. Please help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, validated files, check to make sure steam was updated, I checked to make sure my drivers where updated, and have even hooked up a couple fans under my pc to make sure it wasn't over-heating. That being said I doubt it's a heat problem I play a lot of other games that are way more demanding than this game and no problems. Just trying to work the problem. Anyways I need help to figure this out. I'm scared to open the game again and realize I may have to restart.
