Unable to complete wall jump section. Cal will not jump off walls.

3 years later, and i still have the same problem... 
But thank you guys, i feel less alone finding your answers today. 
i was surprised not to find any mention of this bug somewhere.
I guess i just have to redefine the keys to default keybinding
