There were issues at launch with PC performance, which apparently required them to give these massive patches.
I've had the same issue but there is currently nothing we can do about it.
Hopefully they are able to resolve the issues and create smaller patches in the future.

Yeah, I've had to download over 300 gb just to play a game that doesn't work right. First the game that was large to begin with, then another update that was 130gb and now another 130gb? These updates do nothing for the game. It still crashes, fps drops constantly, and it still doesn't even want to launch.
EA is become Ubisoft on * steroids.

The issue is the patch is not 130 gb. The patches have been at most 1 - 4 gb. There is no real reason for this, and no one that has replied to these posts with any actual knowledge to why has given a solid answer, just work arounds that are arbitrary and should not be required, like reinstalling the entire game for a 4 gb patch.
