I go to my stronghold to change my characters appearance using the customizer, but the section where you preview your character (on the left) is black so I have no idea what the options look like. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks for the tip. I just updated them and restarted the computer then the game but the issue is still there.

I gather you have tried various gfx settings ? posting a dxdiag will give a better idea of your setup , what your describing is not something seen normally at present
My display name is Solar_Dragon. I have attached the DxDiag as a text file. I have tried changing the graphics settings in game but thats it.
can you confirm the monitor is physically plugged into the nvidia gfx card , the inbuilt intel video card is still enabled and lists having the monitor attached

It's in the HDMI port so no...
glad to hear it is sorted now , you may find gfx are a little better performing now too
