From my understanding Boku was removed as a payment choice a few years ago.
As per this link here the only choices now are credit card, and depending on the country either PayPal, JCB, Vista Electron and a few others.
Really? Because I've been able to purchase stuff through SMS since I began playing in last December. Only stopped working a month ago.
Under 450cc there's the option to pay via card, or via sms. I've used SMS before with no issue.

I'm not sure then. In the main forums at swtor.com when I searched for Boku all threads I found said it was no longer working going back several years.

There are many more threads so wasn't going to post them all but they've all said the same thing plus it wasn't listed on the oaymenp method by countries list.
None of this makes any sense. I was able to use it 35 days ago.
I'm so terribly confused. And disappointed. Is there no way to access it again?

@EA_Kipling is there a known issue with Boku at present ? or is it no longer available for purchasing 450cc ?

@TinyTinyDwarf The Redirection Strategy Error is usually related to existing payment methods that are attached to your account.
Could you go to swtor.com and log on, go to My SWTOR -> My Account -> Subscription -> Show your payment history, and then delete all of your saved payment methods from there.
Then do the same thing on your EA account using https://myaccount.ea.com -> Payment Methods, delete all of them.
Then relog and try to make the purchase on swtor.com, hopefully it should work.
- Did all of that. Deleted the payment methods on both EA account & SWTOR.
Nothing changed. Except I see now that SWTOR considers all Boku attempts as 'FAILED'.
Is there no possible way to enable Boku on your end? - EA_Kipling8 years ago

@TinyTinyDwarf Sadly that's not something we can do over the forum. Can you give the account and billing team a call so they can investigate and get it fixed for you?
