C7 error

I don't understand why after playing so many months since my return and in fact in previous years i had no issue with this garbage that I'm suddenly getting this error. I already did a fresh install in case and i still get it. it's odd that it's happening on a tuesday(reset day). Coincidence? Anyways i'm frustrated by this big time.

Could be a hardware issue as the dxdiag is reporting bccode ib0
    Problem signature:
    P1: 1b0
and bccode 193 which can be driver

I would follow the path as seen in the image initially as it saves me typing what i would suggest anyways

  • please still look at my dx incase, but i did a 3rd fresh uninstall/reinstall and NOW it works again. These issues(c7 and bad image) are just confusing me big time and i wonder not if but when these issues will reappear again. sigh.

  • well c7 is gone after i jumped through many hoops and got it playing yesterday. Now today I have a new issue which I couldn't copy/paste. it says swtor.exe Bad image???? i say to myself NOW what. I'll add my dxdiag.

I don't understand what's going on, i checked compatibility afew times, made sure i was running as admin, reinstalled the game a few times and still i get this bad image. Why would it sytart now after running yesterday????

  • C7 is system incompatibility as belgorad mentioned a dxdiag would be handy if you have checked things like your video driver etc are ok

I'm having the same problem, not getting an error message but it won't play when I hit play on the Launcher and the launcher just sits there and I've played it before on the computer I'm using now also here in my DXDIAG

I would try a right mouse click on the game's shortcut and then select properties.  Once there go to compatibility tab and click the disable desktop composition then click OK.

If that doesn't work after please attach a copy of your DxDiag log once you get the failure.  On windows press Windows + R button, type DXDIAG click OK, then once it finishes loading save the results as a .txt and upload here.
