I am also having the same issue, however, when I check the email address linked to my SWTOR account I get given an address ending in "@disabled.ea.com"... How exactly do I log into that account?
My SWTOR account display name is AzhaMafter.

Came back to SWTOR after many years. My account status is preferred but when i tried to subscribe it gives me an error: "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance."

To fix the account You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona dermigaming (not fhs013t9jk20 your posting on now) that EA account uses your swtor gmail email address
use the following link to reset the password ( insert the swtor gmail email ) then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
