Cannot Complete Doomsday Mission

I am doing my first play through of SWTOR and I decided to be a jedi knight. Everything has been very fun and enjoyable up to this point. I have gotten soft locked in the Doomsday mission. I have gotten all the way to the force field in the Dark Temple where I have the choice to save Kira or continue and let her die. I chose to save her. I went back to where she was and did not want to have to fight all of the enemies in the room so I tried to jump over the rails and use force leap to lock on to an enemy and jump over the void. I did not succeed at this and I died in the void below. I clicked the return to medcenter option and I respawned at a medcenter that is through the force field. I can not get back to where I have to save Kira because the force field is blocking me which I can not put down until I save Kira. I cannot continue the mission as I have to defeat 6 imperial guards and there are only 5 more on the way to the emperor. I have killed all the guards on the way to the emperor and can even click on the emperor but nothing happens. My droid can go through the force field but I cannot. I have no clue what I can do and I am not a subscriber so I cannot report the bug. If someone could please help me fix this issue that would greatly appreciated. I do not want to have to start the jedi knight campaign over. Thank you.
