Email Verification

Having trouble with email verification in SWTOR. When opening the game and choosing a character, it prompts me to verify the email address. I choose the option to verify. I have received the email, but following the link gives an error message: Verification code expired, invalid, or account already verified. No code was received and there is no field to input a code either. I've had the email on this account since 2011.
