Cannot progress class story quests

Hi,

I'm currently playing the Sith Inquisitor, and my next step is to go to Tatooine and Alderaan in order to progress the story. However, everytime I try to go to either of those planets the game first takes longer than usual to load, and then kicks me out of the server while displaying the following: "Your Characters on this server are currently unavailable. Please try again later". If it's related to it in any way, I'm a subscriber, and I have no other ongoing quests at the moment. I play on The Leviathan server. I have no other character anywhere else. Also, I can go to all the planets I've previously visited before just fine (Korriban, Dromun Kaas, Balmorra, and Nar Shadaa), but for some reason I always end up getting disconnected from the server if I try to progress any further.

I have tried shutting down the game and restarting, but no fix. This has been going on for several days now, even after checking my files on Steam (everything checks out just fine). Any help would be deeply appreciated.

    Run the verification of game files again per this link

    if that fails email support@swtor.com from the email address you have used on that swtor account

    edit: you can also go to :\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor  when the game is closed and delete just the file called diskcachearena

    then start the launcher as normal

    Also what is your swtor account display/account name ?

  • I'm having the same issue when trying entering Alderaan. Game goes into loading screen and the bar stops middle way and it crashes.

    I'm playing on Darth Malgus doing the Jedi Knight story.

  • @proxos666 Repair only works if any patch hasn't update it correctly and the launcher detects there is an error on the game. So thank you but it won't work.

    @nachowars

     if the repair isnt picking up needing to be run , and if you go to the swtor folder in the game install and delete the file called diskcachearena

    if that has no effect you will need to do a game re- install as the next thing to try
