Cannot reset password

I am starting to replay TOR and reinstall onto my new computer but I forgot my password

I tried to set it but it keeps saying error has occurred

need some help to sort this out please

    @EA_Kat 

    I follow the guidelines required for the password requirement

    but it always comes as "An error occurred" for every new password I tried

    spent probably 2 possible three hours trying this, 

    went through the FAQ page, community support page, reading everything I could find

    I ended up decided to ring technical support at 0230 am (Adelaide, Australia - talk about late night runs)

    to have my password reset and everything

    Thanks for everyone's input, it was a headache and a half

    @Datangia

    Ensure you are going to swtor.com and when you click Login, click on the Forgot your password link.  If you are what is the error that you are receiving when you try to reset your password via the swtor.com website?

    I am going through the account.swtor.com website and I tried to reset my password and it keep saying an error occured

  • I'm having the same problem. Trying to reset the password just results in the "An error has occurred" message every time.

    I can not see any reports about system issues. 

    Please give it another try @Datangia and @RoverKelevra

    Also make sure the Password is at least 6 characters long, has one capital case and a number in it. 

    If there are still issues, please contact our agents via phone so they can look into it further.
