    you are best to call swtor support when the lines are open, i imagine they will need you to recover the old account by placing a new email on that account so you can login and unlink from steam

Really? That's a bummer, I'm not from the US, so I'd get some mad international calling fee trying to get my account back. I reckon there really isn't any other way?
