I recently received a letter notifying me that I needed to log into the game to keep my character's name.The problem is that I only remember the Display Name but I lost access to 2FA some time ago.So i'm kinda in a loop here because i can't recover the password because i don't have access to 2FA and i can't remove 2FA because i don't have the ability to recover the password.Any advice on what to do in a situation like this?

@Michaelis515 Call support, they will verify your identity and remove the 2FA conenction from your account, I just got help with this 5 minutes ago

Again, there's no Brazil support where I could call.
How can I get a support if I can only open a ticket being a subscriber in a game that I cant login?
SWTOR really make it hard to get any kind of support and EA doesn't even care because I tried to contact EA and they just told me that's not their problem.

What else could I do to remove the 2FA from my account and finally reset my password?

@EA_Rtas As with allan_npc, there is no support in my country either. What is the course of action we need to take?

@EA_Rtas Also, the EA help space bot thingy isn't helpful either. It just redirects me to the same steps that already don't work. I know this is an old school idea, but have a real person reach out to me or other players and actually do something to fix this issue for a change.

Hey, don't you feel that your product and company have this kind of loophole in your support - many people want to try to come back to the game for which they lost their 2-factor auth devices long time ago. But they actually have access to an EA account and usually use the same email as they used before which theoretically should help to recover access and establish trust but it doesn't.
And then SW:TOR team and EA are starting to bounce them between support boards, forums, and phone numbers. Why should I call support in the year 2024 being in Europe, it's not the XX century anymore!
I remember that I had this situation a year or two (or maybe three ago) and it hasn't been solved since that. Well, if SW:TOR doesn't want old players to return back, then let it be!

EA. I opened a case for this and got a message from some poor guy, or bot, that doesnt know either. I found all these articles on my own and they don't help.
Don't redirect me to the community that plays the game cause I already looked there (which is a huge cop out on your part btw) I'm not in any of those countries, I don't play through steam and even if i was a subscriber, I can't log on to do a ticket about how I can't log on.
There is no solution for players in this situation currently at any of those sources and the beta bot thing doesn't help either. It's answers are the same as the forums, boards, case support people, etc. Stop telling me to help myself. What did you think these players have been doing up until now, like no one's ever been on the internet or searched for answers before?
