Sorry for the late follow-up. Last we spoke you suggested I contact my bank and I did.
They see no issue with the card on their end and I sadly still can't buy a subscription.

Hey, I appreciate the suggestion, but unfortunately I don't live in any of the countries where there's phone support and international calls where I live are not cheap if they get long.
Is there by any chance an alternative way to get help with this issue via email/ticket?
They dont handle money stuff via email just on the phone
try removing and re-adding the payment info if haven't done already
also try using paypal ?
I see, that's really unfortunate.
I tried removing the card and adding it again, but sadly it doesn't fix the issue, nor does using paypal (with the same card tied to it).
It's so strange that this is happening, considering I've used the exact same card in the past, both before and after SWTOR came to steam where I play it from now.
Why not purchase through steam ? they are a different vendor so payment system is steams
